BIOL 328 Tropical Marine Ecology3 semester hours Field studies of the tropical marine habitats on Isla Roatán, Honduras. This includes the examination of physical, chemical, and ecological aspects as applied to coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, and intertidal communities. Summer only--Study Abroad Program. Prerequisites: BIOL 101 , BIOL 102 , BIOL 111 , BIOL 112 ; CHEM 110 , CHEM 112 . Open water SCUBA certification highly recommended.
