HHSC 330 Medical Nutrition Therapy3 semester hours This course requires application of nutritional principles for use in preventing or treating various pathological conditions. Common dysfunction of the cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine systems and more will be covered in relationship to dietary prevention and intervention using the Nutrition Care Process. Lecture, 3 hours. Prerequisites: HHSC 255 , HHSC 256 , and HHSC 230 or HHSC 278 . |
