MECH 510 Computer-Aided Manufacturing3 semester hours A comprehensive study of manufacturing with a focus on automation, flexible automation, group technology, process planning, and design for manufacturability. Principles and applications of computer numerical control (CNC) and NC programming, rapid prototyping, robotics, and quality engineering are introduced through lecture and laboratory work.
