CIVL 640 Physical and Chemistry Treatment Processes3 semester hours Theory and practice of the physical and chemical treatment processes to treat water and wastewater including flow equalization, preliminary treatment, grit removal, primary sedimentation, filtration, floatation, adsorption, ion exchange and membrance separation, air stripping, precipitation, chemical oxidation and disinfection.
