ENGL 402 Writing Internship in Media

3 semester hours

Students enrolled in this course work 10-12 hours per week with an off-campus media firm.

Permission of the instructor requried. Students must submit a portfolio of their writing to the instructor four weeks prior to registration for the course.

Note: This course doe snot fulfill any requirements of the English major or minor but is recommended for students seeking a career in professional writing. The course is a Univeristy elective and may also be used to fulfill requirements of the Journalism Certificate Program.

Junior or senior standing requried.
