ITAL 1102 Italian 2

Emphasizing communicative and linguistic skills, this course is a continuation of ITAL 1101. The principal goal of the curriculum is to develop the four basic language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing - in classes that are taught exclusively in Italian. New grammatical material introduced includes direct and indirect object pronouns, imperfect and future tenses, and the use of negative expressions. Students increase their vocabulary through further study of Italian culture past and present.

Prerequisite: ITAL 1101 or equivalent.
