Minor Requirements

18 semester hours in Philosophy, of which at least 12 are in upper division courses. Core requirements PHIL 198  and PHIL 320  through PHIL 330  (see Course Descriptions ) may be counted towards the minor. An average of C (2.0) must be attained in courses in the minor.

The Department of Philosophy also offers a minor in Ethics for students who wish to explore further the foundations of ethics and ethical issues as they arise in a range of theoretical and applied domains. Philosophy majors and minors may not minor in Ethics.
