CMSI 485 Artificial Intelligence


3 semester hours

Introduction to the fundamental concepts underlying the implementation of human-level intelligence (and beyond) in computer systems. Topics include agent architectures, problem-solving methods, knowledge representation, symbolic reasoning, Bayesian inference, Markov and Hidden Markov models, utilities and preferences, fundamentals of machine and deep learning, and contemporary applications.

Lecture, 3 hours.

Prerequisites: CMSI 281  and CMSI 282 .
