MATH 261 Mathematics: Contributions by Women3 semester hours A study of the biographies and mathematics of women mathematicians from the 1st through the 20th centuries. Topics include prime numbers, conic sections, cycloid curve, functions, sequences, series, polyhedra, and group theory. Prerequisite: MATH 101 or higher, or placement into MATH 106 or higher. |
