CIVL 637 Building Information Modeling3 semester hours This course focuses on the knowledge and skills required to create and utilize a Building Information Model (BIM) for construction building projects. This is a project-based course where students apply BIM concepts to real-life projects from the planning and design stages to the construction phase. The course also introduces the use of BIM for clash detection as well as for cost estimating and scheduling purposes. |
