BIOL 422 Marine Biology4 semester hours Marine biology will provide students with an introduction to the physical and biological world: the oceans. This course is integrative, focusing on function, biodiversity, and ecology of marine organisms. In addition, students will learn how abiotic processes shape marine environments and the ecology and evolution of marine organisms. Lecture, 3 hours; Laboratory, 4 hours. Prerequisites: BIOL 101 , BIOL 102 , BIOL 111 , BIOL 112 ; BIOL 201 , CHEM 110 , CHEM 112 . University Core fulfilled: Flags: Engaged Learning, Information Literacy. Consent of instructor required. |
