An introduction to the discipline of computing, its history, principles, ethical issues, societal impacts, and applications in and relationships to other fields. Development of soft skills including interviewing, resume writing, career building, mitigation of impostor syndrome and stereotype threat, team dynamics, and strategies for success. Required for all incoming first year computer science majors.
