CIVL 2300 Mechanic of Materials4 semester hours Development of relationships between loads applied to a nonrigid body including axial and torsional loading and the resulting stresses and deformations in the body, the relation between stresses and strains, develop adequate procedures for finding necessary dimensions of a member with respect material capabilities and design constraints.
