JOUR 2211 History of Journalism

4 semester hours

This course touches on the historic origins of journalism and how it is practiced in other countries. The focus is on American journalism from Benjamin Franklin’s printing press to the penny press to the internet. 

Prerequisites: ENGL 2206 /JOUR 2100
