MDGK 3348 Modern Greek Theater: Influences and Performance


4 semester hours

A multi-disciplinary exploration of Modern Greek theater from its ancient origins to its contemporary reincarnations. Through a series of lectures, theater visits, backstage tours and workshops with artists in Los Angeles and in Athens, students engage with topics like the evolution of Modern Greek theater as well as the creative aspect of creating and performing theatre today. This is a BCLA Global Immersion Course that travels to Greece during spring break.
