EECE 3130 Electronics 4 semester hours
This course is the first in a series of two undergraduate electronics courses. It provides the fundamentals of semiconductor devices and their applications in electronic circuits. Topics include diodes and their applications, transistors and their applications in operational amplifiers, feedback techniques and feedback stability. It provides the introduction to engineering design methods utilized in the synthesis of contemporary analog electronic circuits including extensive use of CAD tools.
Prerequisite: EECE 2210
Electrical Engineering majors only
