SELP 635 Advanced Lean Management of Healthcare

3 semester hours

Review of Lean fundamentals. NUMMI Case Study; Lean Office; Lean Product Development Flow (LPDF) Method; Introduction to Lean Enablers for Managing Engineering Programs; Lean Supply Chain. The remaining 70% of the course is devoted to development of best practices for managing various aspects of Healthcare, and/or modeling, as needed by students. Project. The instructor is available to assist students with their work-related projects. Three hours in-class weekly. This course is available only to Certificate of Lean Healthcare students.

Prerequisites: SELP 535 and SELP 696 .
