FNLT 3252 Race & Gender in Italian Culture

An interdisciplinary exploration of race and gender in the Italian context, acknowledging the legacy of fascism, colonialism and migration, and examining how racial hierarchies as well as the domiance of white heterosexual masculinity have been represented, interrogated and challenged in Italian cultural production.
