ITAL 2103 Italian 3

Emphasizing communicative and linguistic skills, this course is a continuation of ITAL 1102 . The goal of the curriculum is to develop the four basic language skills–listening, speaking, reading, and writing–at the appropriate level of proficiency in classes that are taught exclusively in Italian. New materials covered include the subjunctive modes, hypothetical sentences, double pronouns, comparisons, and superlatives. Students familiarize themselves with additional aspects of Italian history, culture, and politics.
Prerequisite: ITAL 1102 or equivalent.
