Admission Requirements
- The Graduate Division application, along with two official copies of transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
- Writing prompt (see website for content) and Résumé
- Two completed reference forms (available from the School of Education, Admissions Coordinator or website)
- Completed Technology Requirements form
- Completed Catholic Schools Agreement
- Interview with the Program Director
- Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0; or a 3.05 GPA in the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate coursework taken; or a 3.0 GPA in at least 9 semester hours of graduate level coursework is required
- Signed Verification of Experience Form
- TOEFL or IELTS (for applicants who completed high school in a non-English speaking country and do not hold BA/MA from U.S.)
- Transcript Evaluations (for applicants who completed undergraduate/graduate degree outside the U.S.)
- Exceptions Committee Form and Statement (for applicants who do not meet the minimum GPA and/or TOEFL/IELTS requirements)
Additional Requirements for Preliminary Administrative Services Credential
Candidates interested in coursework/fieldwork leading towards recommendation for the California Preliminary (Tier I) Administrative Services Credential Should refer to the corresponding section in this bulletin for additional information.

Learning Outcomes
Candidate will acquire the skills, knowledge, and dispositions to serve as an Educational Leader in Catholic schools. Candidates will participate in residency/fieldwork experiences designed to facilitate the application of theoretical concepts in practical setting. There will be a strong emphasis on cultural and linguistic diversity, special education, the successful development of English Language Learners, and the parent-school relationship in six of the courses (EDLA 6420 , EDLA 6421 , EDLA 6422 , EDLA 6423, EDLA 6424 , EDLA 6425 ). Note:
The Master of Arts in Catholic School Administration Program is currently under departmental review. Applications for the 2014-2015 academic school year will not be considered. Interested applicants may choose however to apply for the Certificate in Catholic School Leadership program in Fall 2014, and later consider applying for the MA degree in Fall 2015. Earned semester hours through the certificate in Catholic School Leadership Program will apply towards requirements for the MA degree. |
