ACCT 3140 Accounting Info Systems 3 semester hours
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of accounting information systems including transaction processing, system documentation techniques, business process, and internal controls. Accounting software and spreadsheets are used to illustrate these AIS fundamentals and to reinforce financial and managerial accounting concepts within the context of an accounting information system.
Accounting majors only, except by permission of instructor.
Prerequisites: BADM 1030 and ACCT 2120 , all with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
