Students interested in pursuing a Business Chinese Certificate must complete three courses (12 semester hours) above CHIN 2102 Chinese 2 and below CHIN 4106 Chinese 6. Students will have some flexibility in their entry for the Certificate program, depending on their initial placement test result. All students must take at least one Business Chinese course: Business Chinese I, Business Chinese II, or both. The certificate offers students the opportunity to develop valuable skills in Mandarin Chinese, while understanding the nuances of Chinese business culture. This promotes lifelong learning by equipping students with language skills that can serve them throughout their careers.
