Overview

The Applied Developmental Psychology Minor at LMU provides students with multidisciplinary training in child development through coursework, research, and applied fieldwork. 

Key features of the program include: 

  1. A multidisciplinary approach to the study of child development, and the factors that influence development. 
  2. A year-long, cohort-based fieldwork practicum at the LMU Children’s Center through which students apply their coursework to the context of early childhood education. 
  3. A flexible curriculum that allows students to focus their coursework to align with individual interests (e.g., health, medicine, education, psychology).
